Thanks for this … I would have found it eventually, but it’s good to see someone is thinking about Opera + Ubuntu like I am. Now I want to see how to make Opera Unite plug into Ubuntu’s Ubuntu One Launchpad servers (which are actually amazon s3 servers)

To Richard: Interesting, it didn’t ask me for any private details, it just wanted a login account so that it can associate your computer with your files in the cloud. So, username + password + email = perfectly acceptable to me.

I stopped and uninstalled the Opera 10 beta as soon as it asked for personal information during the registration process of the Opera Unite component. Thanks but no thanks.
