Install Chromium (Google Chrome) on Linux Mint 9 {Isadora}
Personally I like to have a few browser on my machine whether it’s running Ubuntu, Linux Mint or OpenSuse. Google Chrome (chromium) is one of my favorite browsers after Firefox. By default it doesn’t come installed in any of Linux distors mentioned above. However installing it is not a very painful process and can be achieved using the synaptic package manager. In order install chromium on your Linux mint:
1. Open Synaptic Package Manager by going to Menu > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager
2. Search for chromium-browser and select the chromium browser package.
3. Click Apply to start installing Chromium on Linux Mint 9 {Isadora}
4. Once installed, you can find it under Menu > Internet > Chromium Web Browser
Enjoy Chromium on Linux Mint!
