Opera is one of my favorite browsers as it comes as a full package with support for email (POP and IMAP), IRC chat client, RSS feedreader. You can also extend its functionality using widgets. Installing Opera 10.10 on Linux Mint is pretty easy. Let’s see how to install it:

1. Open Synaptic Package Manager by going to Menu > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager

2. Search for Opera.

Once installed you can start it by going to Menu > Internet > Opera

Enjoy the goodness of Opera on Linux Mint 9.
