Do you like singing along while a song is playing and sometimes miss out on lyrics. You might face this more so on Linux as Windows has fairly good options for a lyrics finder. OSD-Lyrics tries to fill this gap by allowing you to download lyrics. More over it supports a large number of media players.

OSD Lyrics is inspired by lrcdis. With OSD Lyrics, you can enjoy an OSD lyrics show with various media players in Linux.

Following is a list of players supported:

You can install OSD Lyrics using the following commands at the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:osd-lyrics/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install osdlyrics
Once installed you can find it under Applications > Sound & Video > OSD Lyrics.
Enjoy the Karaoke experience on your Linux System.
