I use flock because it&#8217;s not just a browser but it&#8217;s also a platform to unleash your social media needs. You can configure it with facebook, twitter and feeds to name a few. Let&#8217;s see how we can install flock on Ubuntu (jaunty jackalope).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You can do it in many ways but the easiest way is using a .deb file.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. Download the flock .deb file from <a href="http://www.getdeb.net/download/4380/0" target="_blank">here</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. All that is left now is double click the downloaded deb file (flock_2.5-1%7Egetdeb1_i386.deb) to install flock 2.5 on Ubuntu.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-25" style="border: 0pt none;" title="flockdeb" src="http://linuxhub.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/flock1.png" alt="flockdeb" width="500" height="370" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26" style="border: 0pt none;" title="flock2" src="http://linuxhub.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/flock2.png" alt="flock2" width="500" height="370" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. Once you have installed the browser you can find it under <span style="color: #808080;">Application &gt; Internet &gt; Flock</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-27" title="flock Menu" src="http://linuxhub.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/flock3.png" alt="flock Menu" width="383" height="357" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You may choose to drag and drop it on your panel to make it easier to use.</p>
