However, as we all know there’s Firefox 3.6 available for sometime now. So I decided to update my Firefox to 3.6 on my OpenSuse machine. Following is what I did to upgrade to Firefox 3.6.

1. Open a terminal window and type the following command:

sudo zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.2/ openSUSE\ 11.2\ Mozilla

Next type the following to upgrade to Firefox 3.6

zypper dup -r openSUSE\ 11.2\ Mozilla

With in a few minutes (depending on your Internet connection speed) Firefox 3.6 will be installed.
